Bigger and Better

We are excited to hear that our Serious Organised Crime video - The Slide - is generating interest beyond the Scottish borders. Fingers crossed it goes UK wide! We had a great launch in CastleBrae Community High School where we filmed a number of scenes as well as sourcing the majority of young actors, including our young lead James Carter. Lots of press showed up, the film was praised beyond our humble expectations, and the school put on a fantastic spread, aided by the pupils. The Green Banana team couldn't have eaten more cake or sandwiches if they tried!

Back To Work!

It's been a crazed cultural overdose on the streets of Edinburgh during the Edinburgh Festival, but now peace and quiet settles upon the streets once more. Not in Green Banana HQ though! We attended the press conference for our educational drama - The Slide - launch last week, where we enjoyed the positive response to the film from students, media and client alike. This week we are completing a new short film for the Scottish Seabird Centre, along with printing off a million trillion copies of The Slide - fingers crossed it goes nationwide!

Bryony Day

Bryony Day came in as the Business Development Manager for Green Banana at the start of 2010, and has since grown the project into a successful social enterprise/production company, producing professional films without forgetting Green Banana’s social aims. Previous to Green Banana Bryony worked freelance within film production for corporate clients around Scotland and therefore knows her way around a camera and editing suite – useful skills when instructing others on producing a quality product!
